Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid (EFA) which provides eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) for the support of heart and brain health. An inadequate intake of EFAs can result in the development of chronic health problems that can interfere with quality of life.
